We are extremely excited about being able to finally introduce our new logo. We hired one of our favorite designers, Ragnar Freyr, to design it. We like Ragnar’s work because he usually has a very fun, clean and minimalistic appoach to his designs and we are very happy that he implemented all of those aspects in our new logo. The goal of the new logo was to make it more suitable for an international market as the majority of our customers today come from outside of Iceland.

If we compair the new logo with the old you can see that we removed the uniquely icelandic letters “ú” and “ó” as they seemed to create confusion with non-icelandic customers. Also a better connection with the purpose of our company has been infused in the logo by adding the house to the letter L as a reminder that we rent out cottages, cabins and summerhouses in Iceland.
